This Privacy Policy describes how MapAndFilter Inc. (맵앤필터 주식회사) ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the mobile application Trox (the "App"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Trox stores the following data only on your device using Android's local storage (Room database, DataStore):
- Your workout routines and exercises
- Workout session history (sets, weights, reps, dates)
- App settings (theme, language, rest timer defaults, reminder times, notification preferences)
This data never leaves your device unless you manually export or share it.
Data Collected by Third-Party Services
Firebase Analytics — Google's mobile analytics service. Collects:
- Anonymized device information (model, OS version, country/region)
- App usage patterns (screens visited, features used)
- App version and install ID
Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting service from Google. Collects:
- Crash reports (stack traces, device state at crash time)
- Anonymized device identifier
- App version
Firebase Cloud Messaging — For push notifications (if you have notifications enabled). Stores a device token that identifies your device for push delivery; this token is not linked to your personal identity.
Google AdMob — Displays ads in the App. Collects:
- Advertising ID (resettable by you in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads)
- Approximate location (country)
- Anonymized device information
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the App
- To improve features based on usage patterns
- To detect and fix crashes
- To deliver ads (when applicable)
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email, phone number, or any direct identifier (we don't have a sign-up flow)
- Your precise location
- Photos, contacts, or device files
- Any data from other apps

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your Choices
- Disable personalized ads: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads to opt out.
- Disable notifications: Inside the app — More → Settings → Notifications — or your device's notification settings for Trox.
- Delete all data: Uninstall the app. All locally stored data is removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
